19565 10/14, 10/21, 10/28  ORDER, CALL AND NOTICE  OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION TO THE QUALIFIED  ELECTORS OF  PINE-STRAWBERRY FIRE  DISTRICT OF GILA  COUNTY, ARIZONA (THE DISTRICT): A special bond  election will be held on November 4, 2025 (the  Election). The purpose of  the election is to permit the  qualified electors of the District to vote on the question  included in the following form  of the Official Ballot. SAMPLE BALLOT Shall the District Board of  Pine-Strawberry Fire District  of Gila County, Arizona, be authorized to sell and issue  general obligation bonds of  Pine-Strawberry Fire District  of Gila County, Arizona, in  the aggregate principal  amount of not to exceed  $6,000,000 to provide funds  to construct, renovate, improve, equip and furnish fire  stations and other District facilities, acquire apparatus,  vehicles and equipment, liquidate indebtedness with respect to the foregoing, and  pay all necessary costs in  connection therewith; said  general obligation bonds to  bear interest at a rate not to  exceed 12% per annum and  to mature over a period of not  to exceed 20 years from the  date of their issuance and  may be sold at prices that include premiums not greater  than permitted by law? FOR THE BONDS AGAINST THE BONDS The aggregate principal  amount of the bonds to be  authorized at the Election  shall be $6,000,000; the maximum rate of interest to be  paid thereon shall be not  more than 12% per annum;  the minimum and maximum  number of years bonds of any  issue or series authorized at  the Election may run from  their date shall be 1 year and  20 years, respectively; the  District currently has no general obligation debt outstanding and the statutory debt  limit of the District is  $5,062,606, being 6% of the  net limited assessed property  value of the taxable property  in the District (which debt  limit is based on a value provided by the assessor of Gila  County, Arizona for  2024/2025). The District is  authorized by State law to request voter authorization for  bonds in an amount that does  not exceed 120% of the Districts statutory debt limit,  which is equal to $6,075,127. See the next page for general  voting information provided  by Gila County, Arizona,  which includes the date and hours of the Election. The  Election will be a  ballot-by-mail election. No  polling place will be provided.  A resident of the State of Arizona is qualified to register to  vote if such person is a citizen of the United States, will  be eighteen years of age or more on or before the date  of the next regular general  election, has not been convicted of treason or a felony,  unless restored to civil rights,  and has not been adjudicated  an incapacitated person. See  Title 16, Arizona Revised  Statutes for additional information regarding voter registration and qualifications of  electors. All registered voters in  the Pine-Strawberry Fire District will automatically receive  a ballot in the mail approximately three weeks prior to  the election. Requesting a  Replacement Ballot: If you  lost, spoiled or never received your ballot, you may  request a replacement ballot by calling the Recorders Office at (928) 402-8736 or by  visiting the replacement ballot  site listed below. Colcord Road Payson, Arizona 85541 Qualifications of Electors: In  order to vote in this election,  you must have been registered to vote within the  boundaries of the jurisdiction  on or before midnight, Monday, October 6, 2025. You  may check your registration  status, online at www.gilacountyaz.gov/government/recorder/voter_registration.php  or by calling the Gila  County Recorders Office at (928) 402-8736. RETURNING YOUR BALLOT You may return your voted  ballot by mail using the  postage-paid envelope included with the ballot or drop  it off at one of the Ballot Drop  Box locations listed below.  Your ballot must be received  by the Recorders Office no  later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 4, 2025.  Postmarks do not apply when  considering this deadline.
